Members are able to specify ‘rules’ that will accompany their secure messages.
These rules can be as general or as specific as a PEN allows. Examples include:
- Disabled replying
- Disable forwarding
- Recipients are only allowed to reply to this message before July 30, 2010.
- This message expires in 10 days.
- Recipients require the permission of the sender before forwarding this message.
- Replies to this message must be in a plain text format.
Specific PENs may allow for any combination of policy stipulations regarding sent messages. New policies can easily be set up by the PEN Administrators of the Private Email Network.
